Hi, I'm Reena

I help healthcare professionals thrive in English for the real world.

What do I do?

I teach English in (not always sunny!) San Sebastián in the Basque region of Spain. I strive to support my students communicate effectively with confidence by listening to their needs, working together to come up with a realistic learning plan and using a variety of teaching techniques so they have the best shot at successfully achieving their desired outcome.

Who do I help?

I help busy but caring health professionals often working in a multi-disciplinary environment such as doctors, nurses and pharmacists who are keen to travel and move to an English-speaking country. They have a CEFR level of B2-C1 but need to communicate confidently, effectively and appropriately, whether it is with other healthcare professionals carefully following a care plan, anxious patients or potential friends when settling in and getting to know the locals in their new community!

Is this about you?

Are you a socially conscious pharmacist who wants to communicate more confidently in English?

Do you want to learn, but have neither the energy nor the inclination to study in a large group at a language academy- especially after a long day?

Do you use language apps such as Duolingo, for convenience but find, "The bear eats an apple." isn't helpful when talking to real people?

Do you feel flustered during conversations which require tactfulness and sensitivity, due to lack of meaningful speaking practice?

Do you work where there are tourists or recent immigrants, who don't speak your language well?

Are you tired of misunderstandings?
