I'm Reena (she/her/hers)
I'm a former community pharmacist, who has lived and worked in multicultural Britain for most of my life.
I later qualified as an English teacher after spending time volunteering in Colombia, before moving to the north of Spain.
I've got plenty of experience effectively preparing my students for the Cambridge FC and CAE exams, as well as being a Medical English teacher and OET preparation provider.
So if that's your next step, I can help you ace it!
My values
Community
Real World English with Reena values and embeds Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) and Global Citizenship intentionally, regardless of fleeting fads. Every human on this planet, whether they are a student, patient or not, has the right to be treated fairly and with dignity regardless of their nationality, cultural heritage, gender, sexual orientation, learning differences, social class or whether they have a disability. Let's ensure our learning and workspaces are safe, brave spaces for us to grow so we can live, work and thrive in the "real world".
I live, work and volunteer in Donostia. I'm part of the community and thrive on bringing people together to share our cultures and promote inclusion and a sense of belonging.
Do you have an independent business/ community hub in Donostia?
Are you interested in a cultural exchange or collaboration?
Do you fancy spicing up your usual offerings with a language exchange or cultural workshop?

Speaker
I've run workshops at ELT conferences: IHYL Cordoba, TESOL North Spain Bilbao, APAC Barcelona, TESOL Spain Burgos and IATEFL Edinburgh.
Perhaps you're also working in the ELT space and equally passionate about social justice?
Do you desire to make the classroom, the workplace and beyond a more equitable and inclusive place for all?
I'm open to collaborations and running "hands-on" workshops related to Global Citizenship.
